Crafted with Passion, Inspired by Nature
My Working Process
From fleece to finished piece, every step is hands-on and thoughtful. I carefully source British wool, and some of my alpaca fibre comes from Norfolk. Each batch is washed and prepared by hand, with essential oils added at the final rinse before dyeing. I hand-dye in small batches and shape every item using traditional techniques — ensuring quality, beauty, and authenticity in everything I make.
About The Snuggly Viking
The Snuggly Viking — where tradition meets creativity, and wool is transformed into something truly personal.
The Snuggly Viking is where tradition meets creativity — where wool becomes something truly personal.
Every fibre I work with has a story. For over 15 years I’ve been working with wool and natural fibres — washing, dyeing, spinning, weaving, and shaping them into beautiful pieces and high-quality supplies for fellow makers.
I run a small, high-welfare farm in Suffolk, where every animal is treated with care and respect, alongside trusted local farms in Norfolk. Essential oils are added at the final rinse before dyeing, giving each piece a natural softness and scent that connects the craft to the land it comes from.
I’m also proud to partner with Pathways Farm, a Suffolk brain-injury charity, to offer a special line of alpaca products — with 25% of profits (after costs) donated to support their amazing work.
My collection celebrates the richness of British wool: from vibrant hand-dyed fleece for crafters to cosy scarves and accessories for those who love timeless style with a unique twist.
I believe in craftsmanship, sustainability, and individuality. Whether you’re a maker or a wool lover, I hope you’ll find something special here — something made with care, warmth, and purpose.

I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater artist than now.
